For those people who have never visited this pub , this website will give you an introduction to what we consider to be a little gem of a pub. The Ferry Boat Inn ( known locally as The FBI ) is one of the few remaining original pubs in the country that has not been subjected to an awful brewery facelift and is still how a pub should be. Situated right on the shore of the River Dart, the FBI is a really friendly one bar pub with probably one of the  most stunning views from a pub window in the world !!!

To those of you who know the pub you will find lots of familiar faces in our gallery along with upcoming special events, local news and even some gossip about life and locals in Ditsum!

A choice of 4 real ales, a comprehensive wine list and a pub menu that is out of the ordinary is always available. We attract a wide range of customers from locals to yachties, families of all ages, holidaymakers  and celebrities all of whom come to soak up and enjoy the atmosphere. At the Ferry Boat Inn invariably you will start chatting to either one of the locals or another holiday maker that will make your visit even more memorable. Local characters abound and some are even known to take a drink off visiting holiday makers ( no names mentioned !!! )
